COURSE OVERVIEW:

In this 14-week course, students will delve into the basics of music theory, gain hands-on keyboard experience, and develop their singing voices. Through a combination of individual and group activities, students build a strong musical foundation that will inspire a lifelong love for music. This is an introductory course; no prior musical knowledge is required.

Welcome to the Music Exploration Series: Level 1 Introduction with The Curious Musician! This is a dynamic and interactive class designed to introduce homeschool students to the foundations of music through a variety of engaging activities. This class teaches core musical knowledge and skills through keyboard piano playing, singing, and music technology. The Music Exploration Series is perfect for young musicians in Bucks and Montgomery counties who are eager to explore the world of music in a fun and supportive environment.

MATERIALS NEEDED

Keyboard (preferred for at-home practice)
Course Workbook (provided)
Access to home internet via computer or Ipad

COST: $399 ($59 deposit + $85/month)

Keyboard Basics: Students will learn the fundamentals of keyboard playing, including hand positioning, note reading, and musicality. Each session will include differentiated and engaging activities for practice and performance.
Music Theory: Through fun games and activities, students will be introduced to basic music theory concepts such as rhythm, scales, and notation. Understanding these concepts will enhance their overall musicality and ability to read music.
Vocal Training: Our singing sessions will focus on developing pitch, rhythm, and foundational vocal techniques. Students will use their singing voices to enhance their learning of keyboard skills and music theory.
Performance Opportunities: Students will have many in-class opportunities to showcase their progress in a supportive setting, fostering a strong sense of confidence and community.
